You hear them on the bus, chatting away in Bislama with the kids sitting behind them. You see them carrying their island baskets through the market, looking for a piece of laplap for lunch. You might glimpse a group of them having a sunset shell together at a nakamal, conversing in a bit of Binglish (a funny mix of Bislama and English).
