Vanuatu latest to join International Criminal Court

VANUATU has become the latest State to accede to the treaty that established the International Criminal Court (ICC), bringing to 120 the number of countries that are parties to the statute, the court reported.
PASSENGERS of the Fiji flight last Saturday morning had to spent extra time at Bauerfield Airport, as no one from the Boarder Control Unit (Immigration) was there to receive them.

PACIFIC island countries are playing 'hardball' with the United States government in negotiations for American tuna boats to continue having preferential access to tuna-rich fishing grounds.
